The Palm Pre can record higher quality videos using the latest video standard H.264 at a resolution of 480 x 320. This video format is popular in Blu-ray and HD DVD discs which uses Advanced Video Coding technology. The Pre must be held sideways (microUSB up) to record video footage in the correct orientation.
