I heard it’s a different kind of sim card, specially for this device, smaller. If this is true, it will be very difficult to choose any provider who isn’t AT&T
I am getting one. It will only look better with time once content becomes more widespread.

I dont get it, when u use 3g on your phone, u pay for it… so wouldnt this need a sim card inside of a provider in order to use 3g internet?? And having a sim inside would kinda make it an iphone…. Please explain…

Why do people not understand that this about CONTENT, its not a big ipod touch. This is going to revolutionize the way people get and use content. Newspaper, books, magazines, students with books on it. Its not for everyone, but to say its stupid is………. well stupid. This is just the beginning can’t you see.

I think apple got a big head now and decided that what ever they make people will buy, which is true cause people like new shiny things.
I love apple, I’ve had over 6 different iPod’s and a MacBook but this “iPad” is ridiculous.
Thats what hes trying to tell you. Theres the WiFi version that just does WiFi for people who don’t want the 3G coverage. There is also the 3G+WiFi model that does both 3G and WiFi, its just more expensive because they have to incorporate the 3G technology into the same device

Fucker the one that does both is the wifi/3G version. There is a standalone wifi version and there is a verison that includes both WIFI AND 3G!
