Google Nexus One: Unboxing, speaker and screen tests
I just got the Nexus One this Friday (01/08/10) and decided to make some tests and comparisons against the iPhone (3GS) and the iPod touch (3rd gen). Test1: Screen test. Nexus One sports 3.7″ AMOLED display with 100000:1 contrast ratio, while the iPod Touch equipped with 3.5″ TFT-LED (no contrast ratio rating). Nexus One’s screen out-shined the iPod touch with bright and vibrant color, thanks to the AMOLED display. Test2: Speaker test. Both Nexus One and iPhone have somewhat moderate …

Does the Nexus play various video formats like avi or just mpeg4 ?
realy cause i think it just got destroyed
lotion bro you are making us look bad lol
@MlGamefreak2011 yup i do agree with you that the iphone have the advantage in terms of games and all that, but consider this; the Apple Apps Store wasn’t up until 2008 which was a year after the iPhone was launched. But the Android Market was up right from the beginning with now more than 18,000 apps and growing. And the Nexus One is for me too!
@nutelina you have to take into consideration thatth the nexus one webpages are being loaded at much higher resolutions. 480×800 as opposed to the iphones 480×640, much more detailed and not to mention the screen is larger and brighter. im sure if you lower the brightness and turned down the resolution then you would get much better results. so really the browser test is kinda unfair. anyway i personally think the iphone has beter games, but the nexus one is the one for me. in developement ,etc
also, the iphone/ipod equipped with much better earphones
1. nope, the micro SD card is hot swappable so you don’t ran into annoying copy right issues like you asked
2. for the speaker, the sound from the nexus one seems to be more clear in term of clarity, its also true with the call quality.
3. well to tell you the truth, the battery for both phone lasted for quite the same time if you constantly using the phone, but if you just put them to stanby, the iphone will last longer
ps:while the opinions are mine, the comments are yours
nothing beats the ipod/iphone sound quality i bet..
All what N.one to have is to capture videos at 3o fps
i have 3 things i wanna know and ill soo go for it
1. does it have annoying copy right issues with music like the phone has to be formated every time u do something simple like put it on another PC?
2.how does it sound compared to the 3gs clarity wise.
3.battery life most important thing how long does it last cause my 3gs barely last a hole day with me and to tell u the truth i dont really use it that much
thx to who ever answers my questions
it’s not worse, but it just the Nexus One has a much better display lol
iphones display seems way worse =/
didn’t you ever worked in retail? CUT. AWAY. FROM. THE BODY! LOL
The screen of the Nexus looks so much better, except it might be too warm, how are the blacks? I bet the Nexus rocks for video. Too bad for the speaker but how much do you use that anyway. The web-page loading and scrolling poop on Nexus, come-on Google you can do better or is Linux that lazy?
nexus one is soo fuckin great good video thx dude
thank you for watching
bad bad vid
hanset baru syall..haha
