How do you delete contacts on the palm pre?

Select the contact and click the “Edit” button. Then click in the upper-left corner of the screen, which is a menu that is contextual to whatever application you are in currently. When you are editing a contact, one of the options is “Delete”. You will be presented with a confirmation screen. Click “Delete All Profiles” to confirm the delete.
Yes, “Delete All Profiles” sounds scary. I was worried at first as well, but it just means you’re confirming the deletion of that contact. See page 142 of your Palm Pre User Guide for more information.
select the contact you want to delete, then do edit, then you will have an option to delete.
I am having trouble also deleting contacts. It won’t let me delete any AIM contacts.
Also I can’t log out of AIM!!! I can get to the screen with the options for either logging into AIM or deleting the account, but I can’t select either of those options and there isn’t an option for logging out. Apparently it is showing that I am on AIM 24/7 now, and I am receiving IMs 24/7.
Very annoying.
