Oh and absolutely free too.
@TheGospelbug Because it WAS a good game.
it has a pretty crappy framerate, or the sprites lack of many frames
i stick with the PSP/Snes version for the matter
too bad capcom didnt gave megaman the gave it deserve, but it only get stupid DLC and subpar ports
play the snes version then comeback to this review
pretty good game, don know y fans are hatin…
is this available for ipod touch 1st gen? /:
Score?
SCORE???
“everyone is very impress”
8/10
i would rage even harder
the port is missing everything that made MegaMan X good, cept music.
this game has transiton where it SHOULD NOT HAVE…
This is heavily edited you have to show people what they are buying take them around the title screen selection and who them actual gameplay and not edited footage. This isn’t worth any bit of money no matter what the price.
where can i download this game for my iphone? is it on pc or my iphone?
I think alot of the fans are disappointed at what a bad port it is. on the SNES all the stages where just one big chunk and didn’t have black screen transitions at all. The BGs movement speeds where different giving them a sense of depth and in the water stage the BG would wave selling the idea you where under water. Characters are missing frames in their animations making them far less smooth. It just seems like a lazy port of a port, seeing as they put X on mobiles phones 5 years ago.
Cant we just get it free when we hack our iPhone to play emulaters?
Ignore the items store and just buy the rearranged music option. The weapons also charge by themselves so you don’t have to keep holding down the fire button which makes it easier with the touchscreen. It is also harder to do dash-jumps off a wall (to obtain heart powerup for example) since you have to hit the DPad twice in order to dash instead of a dedicated button like in the SNES version. There is also a difficulty selection and a ranking mode.
There is an option to play rearranged music for the game but you have to buy it (1.99). Still, the quality of the rearranged music is great, and i was surprised how it sounded. The onscreen DPad can be frustrating to use at times especially when doing the jumps and climbing a ladder for ie: Boomer’s stage. It also lacks some of the explosions from the SNES version. Overall, its worth a purchase if your a fan of X, definitely had me playing from beginning to end.
The HD graphics look great but it seems that they cut a few frames off of Mega Man’s running animations. The game also gives you the option fighting the stage boss again after completing the stage. Achievements also cover killing a boss through their weakness and heart, tank and armor powerups. The bosses seem easier than the original X game for the snes since i found myself being able to take down some of them by using the Xbuster.
idc what you guys say, i fuckin love it! (besides nvr saving)
Megaman X released on AppStore…plays it on SNES still.
i have this app on the ipad and i cant tell that ANY of the music is missing…either im stupid or they’ve updated it since i got it on Christmas day
It’s a butchered “port”. The graphics make it look like a cheap flash game, some music is missing, and it’s easier. And this is just my opinion, but I despise screen-buttons. I can’t play a game like MMX with screen buttons, I need a controller.
And…a pay-to-win store? Really? The game is already worlds easier than the original and they add a pay-to-win store? Christ…
@vulo1234455 It looks colorful and nice, til you notice the missing frames, less graphically intensive details, and leaving out some things that made the game appealing to the eye. The gameplay seems intact, but you are better off buying the original on virtual console or the Mega Man X Collection disc.
I’m sorry, but I am going to have to disagree. How could you remake a game that performs much worse than the original Super Nintendo version? On top of leaving out some neat details, the graphical parts is not as up to date as they look. Plus they offer downloadable content of the stuff you can already unlock inside the game, absolutely free. For those who are unaware, Capcom is literally trying to nickle and dime you. Not exactly a good move after canceling Mega Man Legends 3.
YATA!
What are the arranged tracks in the store exactly? Are they new or just taken from the jazzy arranged album?
