its kinda pointless becuase its too big to carry around and if your going to have it at home why not just have a normal laptop which has better features

I was skeptical of this device, but now thinking, this would be great for my bedroom so I can have more space to do my work without having the device in the way like a regular laptop would. Also, the touchscreen keypad looks easy to type with. Only question is does it have USB ports so I can import pictures. And also does the iPad come with any protective sillicon to prevent damage when you accidently drop it? People who know this, please follow up with me with information.

Its not just an oversized i-touch, if you watched the keynote there making brand new applications for it, which can be what you use on your computer. If you ever heard of iwork,(pages, keynote, and numbers) that will be on the app store for it. You can use all of the apps for an ipod touch but there is gonna be a completly new market of apps.

i think ipad is perfect for internet, mails, calendar, pictures and movies! it doesn’t need a camera!? does anyone a ultra-big camera? no! but it isn’t a revolution like the iphone or the ipod! or maybe it is? ^^

You Macbook doesn’t have a 9.7″ display, it doesn’t have a 1GHz Apple design ARM chip, it doesn’t used nand storage, it uses a spinning hard drive. All these facts should answer your question.

lol they talk so much shit in this video… it’s just a big iPhone without the phone! I can’t really see the point of this product. A macbook does more and is easier to use, and an iPhone has the bonus of being a telephone… this product seems to sit somewhere in the middle for no obvious gain. A fashion accessory, not much more than that!
