Dagi Stylus on Apple Ipad and Sketchbook Pro
I had heard of a new pen in the market for capacitive screens, such as the apple ipad/iphone and itouch. I had been using the pogo for everything but was up to try something new. A friend mentioned the DAGI stylus which odd enough works better than the pogo. It seems to be more precise and easier to hold. It takes some getting used to as it is a bit weird, but it seems more responsive than the pogo all around. Here is a quick review of the DAGI. If you have any questions just ask. I got the DAGI stylus via ebay.

@cheechoo98 I never did but I don’t use it daily. I don’t put much pressure on mine so that might make a difference.
@CarvedFromWithin you do have to.
ur a really good artist!
does anyone know if the dagi works on touch screen computers?!
do you have to keep the dagi at that angle? that would be bad because it would be diffecult and nothing like the real thing. right?
@LoliciousXD WRONG!!
They are only more scratch resistant than say, a typical cell phone. But they actually get scratched up just fine, and even quite deep sometimes. But I can understand the desire to go commando if you plan to use your iPad for such purposes.
Crayon Physics should be great on this!
Nice drawing ^^
Can you use the Dagi stylus to write lecture notes? I used One Note and a digital pad and pen so far. I need to know whether with a Dagi stylus and an Ipad I can replace my one note and the digital pen/pad that I already have. Thanks
Hi LatinVixen, I got myself a dagi and I can’t quite get the correct feel/position. Do you draw with the tip completely flat on the ipad? I can’t always get that angle where the created line is close enough to the red dot.
So I’m currently practicing using my Dagi and the short pogo styli. I haven’t decided which one I like more since I still haven’t gotten the feel of drawing on the iPad like I do with my tabletpc.
So,I got the Dagi, and after a day or so, I noticed really small, almost imperceptable scratches on my iPad! So I put a screen protector, but the Dagi scratches the heck out of the screen protector. I still have the protector on for 2 reasons – I can still see thru the scratches and 2, I’m really afraid to work w the Dagi just on the iPad glass.
Question: After using the Dagi a longer now, do you notice any small scratches on the glass of the iPad? I did on mine.
@grim36 pogo yes you need to push hard. The dagi it just glides.
@zionx4 you need pens that work with capacitive screens. They are a special kind of pen. Not just any pen works.
How does the stylus work on the iPad/iPhone screen? I always try to use pens and stuff but they never work
You really dont need screen protectors on apple products since they are made with a special screen which is scratch resistant. To the people that dont already know this -_-
i just got the lil pogo one and the i was wondering with all the pogos do you have to push down real hard to draw with???how bout the dagi did you have to push hard or can you glide with it?
@LatinVixen , ok, thanks for the reply.
@chubzzy15 I have tablet pc’s which are like modbooks just not mac based. I have a mac at home but it is not my main art computer. I mostly use windows as more art programs work on windows.
ps: modbooks are way overpriced for what they are in my eyes :/
@sofiercedotcom screen protector was causing too many issues, so took it off.
@GSQcartoon yes pretty much
@rayandjoanne I had a protector on at first and the stylus wasn’t working very well
@MsHornPlaya same sort of screen, so yes it will work on the droid.
@hellboy6661234 ye on iphone as well. Just use sketchbook pro or brushes.
@Spikeball2k9 yes
Is the accuracy directly on the red dot???
