Aaron gets a few minutes with the LG GW620, LG’s first Android smartphone. With social networking features, a full QWERTY keyboard, Android v1.5, and a 5-megapixel camera, it’s a well-equipped mid-range device. all newer phones should use amoled capacitive touch screens
but, why not release it with 1.6? 1.6 is still a fairly decent jump in progress and is stable
I’m suprised that its not running a newer version of Android, for a phone that still hasn’t come out yet 1.5 seems pretty old although I have heard that not all manufacturers have got a handle on getting their custom programs to work on the 2.0 and 2.1 versions of Android, or so i’ve heard
wow Android is taking over the world! It’s the best though
Thanks for the run down because I was just about to ask that on here before I read your comment!
lol @ Noah
eww, resistive screen, capacitive all the way!!! (Resistive is bad compared to capacitive screens)
LMAO at Noah!
you suck then cuz it is way better then the phone you have i know that that so don’t say lg chocolate is better i bet you don’t have the phone
Capacitive is a glass screen and is designed for your finger. Resistive is plastic and is actually designed for a stylus but they made the buttons bigger for your finger….but they are not nearly as accurate as a capacitive.
@dawnshero1 ok thanks
the difference is that capacitive doesn’t actually need like a physical press its just a slight touch and a press…resistive you have to push down all the way
@thegadgetfreak93 what’s the difference between capacitive and resistive?
Love the keyboard, just don’t like the screen.
The end with Noah was LMAO
@Icypwner There were three other Android phone released in Canada before the Eve and Galaxy. The Dream, Magic, and Hero.
@coolanimekid95 Canada had three other Android phones before the Eve and the Galaxy. Dream, Magic and Hero
@coolanimekid95 That’s the phone. I think we had it exclusively.
@coolanimekid95 Yeah this looks very much like the eve that was the first thought in my mind, which is an lg phone with android. Perhaps we were the testing grounds?
I’m not 100% sure, but here in Canada, we have a very similar phone made by LG known as the LG Eve.
Hah~! Noah at then end xDD
How dumb. Android 1.5, LG influence in the OS, resistive touch screen.
Noah that was funny at the end
Noah!! ha ha, haven’t seen him in while
Ok Lg is so stupid…..they really need to start putting out some capacitive touch screens on their phones!
@atje5 it is the eve
its not the first android phone actually the galaxy is we have both in canada like a month ago
