How to install Homebrew Apps onto your Palm PRE with webos
Must have novacom installed from the SDK dev kit and the Pre must be in dev mode. To get into Dev mode type in”upupdowndownleftrightleftrightbastart” on the homescreen of the Pre and a dev icon will pop up. switch to on and it will reboot into dev mode. repeat sequence to take it out of dev mode. I leave mine in dev mode so i dont have to reboot all the time forums.precentral.net Another method is too download prebrew which is what I used before quickinstall available at precentral.net or cid-e47a245fdc43bd04.skydrive.live.com try going to the forums at precentral.net Theres where I learned about all this stuff. They are alot smarter then me

does getting homebrew apps mess up or slow down ur pre like for some who jailbreak their iphone

its all good now, except that I accidentally downloaded the new update before removing patches so now they dont work 
its ok I can live with that 
whenn i want to install some app my pc is telling me ERROR no device found!!

your next error will be that your pre cannot connect 2 your pc this makes meee crazy for month

When I go to start it, it says that the file cant be specified on local computer…but im just on my laptop.

dunno, but im having problem with the novacom as well…
Is that true? Becuase I have been working on it and it is the novacom that doesn’t work for me so do they just need to update it or something?

Ok i dont understand. I have installed new java, webos, and the other thing that comes with it. I also have the epk file or however it spelt and i dragged it into the webos quickinstall. But when i press instal nothing happens. I have my pre connected to computer by just charge as well. What do i do?!
