I have received a new IBM C92 19″ CRT monitor from my godmother. It has a max resolution of 1600 x 1200 which is a HUGE difference vs my old resolution of 1024 x 768. Looking at the new RV 740′s which are better then a HD 4830. Watch the video for more information.

@Yoda8232 Well I was just wanting your overall opinion on me building up my comp. After this summer it would have the 5600+ and the 9800gt or gtx most likely.
Oic maybe not try looking at people on forums with the same motherboard as you. BIOS update would most likely fix it.
@Yoda8232 but, an am3 or tri core would work in that you think? Because its oem motherboard
@Yoda8232 Yah that was my typo, lol, the x2* 5600+
There is no tri-core 5600 you must be talking about a dual core. You can put a AM3 in most AM2+ boards FYI. Plus AM3`s would be more available and probably cheaper due to stock reasons.
at the moment I am working with a amd 64 x2 4400+ 2.2ghz proc, 4 gigs of ram, about to add in a 400w psu and a nividia 9800gt. I am on somewhat of a budget to the PSU and Vid card need to be below 150 bucks all together. I plan to later upgrade to an AMD 64 x3 5600+ 2.9ghz when I get some more cash.
Very nice build, what CPU cooler you using?
Just to let you know that a single rail is better for maximum performance and stability. You’ll only see the difference if your pushing your total system to the absolute max.
Not bad, my latest build is a Foxconn P45A-S MB, packed with an E8600 Core2Duo CPU at 3.5ghz(air), 4gb OCZ Platinum 4,4,4,15 timings, StraightPower quad-rail 700watt PS, and a Sapphire HD4870 TOXIC edition 1GB DDR5 overclocked from factory with VaporX cooling, FRESH install of WinXP Pro, on a Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2070sb, 2048×1536@85hz (super nice CRT). Dominates ALL games it encounters, even Crysis and FarCry2, only thing left is another TOXIC videa card in CROSSFIRE then I will RULE!!!
And you play on?
AHAHAHAHAHAA YOU PLAY IN THIS
Wait for a HD 4770 to be in stock, it’s MUCH better than a HD 4650. Trust me.
4770′s are in such high demand, I’m gonna have to accept a 4650.
It becomes total memory of 1024MB.
Btw mate, If i run two of these in CrossFire, does the available memory increase to 1024MB? Or does it become like a RAID-config of 512MB? ^^
Good luck.
There will be custom cooler’s of course soon, I don’t think they are going to make a 1GB HD 4770 anytime soon, it’s not really needed anyways but why not if you can?
Wow just like me , had the same , gonna get my HD4770 soon
I hope they start selling it with a custom cooler soon, and not to mention 1GB
O dang, the boost would be more than 10 in Crysis and 20 in CoD4. Depending on the settings.
i had a rappy Radeon X300 128mb; and yeah i cant wait to get it, and your right, 1.5 sounds a bit more reasonable, like 20fps higher in COD 4, and 10 in crysis
What card did you have before?
Yeah it’s a great card but not twice as fast as a 9800 GT, 1.5 is more reasonable.
dude i just ordered this card, the 4770; cant wait to get it, been looking up benchmarks and its almost twice if not twice as fast as the 9800 GT
That’s why I ditched the idea of it, plus if I got a 790 FX motherboard I would have to use my FX 5200 from my old PC.
My current onboard on my 790 GX is better than it lol.
Yeah I will, thanks.
Touch screen in a Trofeo?
Nice.
16x/16x only gains 5-10% over 8x/8x in most cases. Not worth the extra money, imo.
