Sad Twist of Fate Kills Flight 447 Survivor by Car
Johanna Ganthaler, an Italian woman and her husband are on vacation in Brazil. It’s May 31st and finally time to head home so they head to the airport to catch their flight but because they were having such a good time they lost track of time and got a late start. They finally make it to the airport, but alas they have missed their flight. No worries, they are able to book another flight leaving Rio de Janeiro airport the very next day. Now, they have a little more time to enjoy in Brazil but 4 hours later they hear that Air France flight 447 has been lost from radar and later discovered to have crashed in the Atlantic Ocean killing all 228 aboard.
Fast forward a couple weeks to June 11th; while driving through Kufstein, Austria, Kurt and Johanna Ganthaler’s car veered across the road and collides with an oncoming truck, seriously injuring Kurt and fatally wounding Johanna. No reports have been released as to the cause of the crash or who was driving.
Many people on the social site Twitter have been posting their condolences and correlating this sad twist of fate to the cult movie series Final Destination. In these movies characters escape death by some sort of divine intervention only to meet their fate later, insinuating that you cannot escape death.

Hmm. There is an interesting correlation between the movie and the true event. Rather creepy actually. Is predestination a reality? Are we assigned our time of death when we are born or perhaps before we are conceived? If you believe in the Christian ideology that God has every human’s name written down– our time of birth, death, and every sin we have ever done, then it is a possibility. But cheating death just to postpone it doesn’t really fit the ideology. Maybe when we are supposed to die( i.e the couple and the plane) our souls are forfeited and our bodies are waiting to die. Just a thought
God sometimes allowes these situations to try and jolt us to think about the fact that we should be preparing for eternity, Maybe the Lady had been told about the Lord Jesus and told that she should prepare for eternity and maybe she would not do it and maybe this was Gods way of giving her a warning, showing how short life is and that Now is the Accepted time, Now is the day of salvation, I hope and pray that she heeded the warning and made things right with God Before she died!
Joh 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:18
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God
