It doesn’t look like Silent Hill at all in these videos. It looks like some crazy shoot-out hootenany in a hospital.
I think they could easily make a silent hill like game (sh 1, 2, 3, 4,) and put it or somthing like it on the iphone and ipod.

i wish developers like this would stop taking great games and then shitting on them.
1. what kind of fucking hospital design is that? it’s nothing but endless corridors without doors. in the real SH games, the hospitals were designed after… (gasp), real hospitals. Despite the creepiness and nightmarish look, you felt like you were in a hospital.
2. Part of SH’s strengths was the environment. On the iphone, 1/3 to 1/2 of the environment is covered up by the player’s finger/fingers.
Its 99 cent now, so I might give this a try.
EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! silent hill will never be good for the iphone unless it’s played through an emulator, dementium on the other hand would be perfect for this because it’s played like that on the ds. also, apple needs to make a keyboard that plugs into the port thing on the bottom because using on-screen buttons is a pain in the ass!

Yeah, the game isn’t up to the quality of the other Silent Hill games…but it is NOT a rail shooter. Rail shooters are ON RAILS. This is an FPS (poorly made, but still an FPS). Rail shooters are games like Panzer Dragoon, Star Fox, and even light gun games when played without light guns. That is, movement is on rails, you have no control. You have control over movement in this game.
They should make Dementium: The Ward for iPhone… That game was sick on the DS.

this game has nothing to do with the original silent hill games.
Original Silent Hill is a psycho horror game that makes u wet yourself when u play it alone in the dark.
This railshooter version is just a joke.
Pretty gay that there is only 1 weapon with very limited amount of ammo…
