I love him demoing the virtual keyboard…”whoops”. Plus the guy can’t type worth crap. Let’s bring back the 1980s with the two index finger-hunched-over posture…meh.
“10 hours”
Oh? That’s impressive? Hmm, interesting so I can spend $100 less and still get a 14 hour battery life capable netbook, right? Exactly. Hey, I even get to multitask on it.
“Dream to type on”. My butt.
I’m a 60 WPM touch typist. Without tactile feedback, I’d have to be staring down at the virtual keyboard AND I’ll still be making more mistakes than on a physical keyboard.
Something I don’t get: if Flash isn’t going to be supported, then how the heck did Jobs surf the website on all those Flash-based websites?
it’s meant as a more portable, pick up and go machine. it isn’t meant to replace a desktop or laptop for stuff like you’re talking about. he says right away in the first part that they made it to browse the web, email, and enjoy pictures and music. it isn’t meant to replace a laptop or desktop.
Because of the iPad hype, several companies are giving away iPads for promotional purposes as soon as they become available. Yes, you really can get a new iPad, but only for a limited time, so be sure to enter soon! Its easy go here and follow the steps

@AERR9 Normally I’d disagree… but in this case, I definitely agree.
I love the way the thing looks….but what if I’m working on a computer project 5 – 10 hours a day? The ipad lays flat on the desk and so I have to peer over it EVERY FRICKEN TIME….no thanks…and then the key pad….what the heck…I can’t feel the keys! How do i know what I’m typing without looking at that stupid screen, hence my complaint in the beginning….
okay, I’m done ranting.
@AERR9 I agree
Microsoft is better
So simple to read a story with…. but is it flash compatible? Great tool for ifags.
@yashsexygo
Everybody’s laughing at the fact that there is news on the ipad itself
whats so funny at 1:14 that everyone laughs O.o
The reason why ipad dose not support flash I think is that; the near feature of video and audio is HTML5. You Tube now support their videos in HTML5. It should not be another reason why ipad dose not support flash
I think this is really really cool looking but I dont need it. I could just use my iTouch instead. I also dont think you can get internet anywhere with this. You have to have wifi. FAIL
I’d think I’ll go buy hp’s ipad thank u very much not apple… it actually has a OS.
I really think there is something to the general idea, “The whole website in the palm of your hands.”
But… not like this… the idea of the iPad is noble, but it’s executed poorly.
No Software which you can’t buy at the Appstore.
No way of using graphic-programms, such as photoshop.
Not possible to use the build in keyboard, except that you have a third hand.
No iFail for me!

One of the things I enjoy about blogs is this: they spark an idea in my mind. As soon as that happens, I feel as I must provide feedback with the hope it may be interesting to other people. Since there are so many blogs and forums with different points of view, they encourage your understanding. It’s at these moments when you have exceptional insignt the rest might not have had, and this includes the blogger him/herself. I find myself coming back to to your internet site simply because you have some terrific insights and you are already at this a long time, that is very impressive and tells me you know your stuff. Keep sparking imagination in others!
